Cork Stone

Cork Stone

Set high on the wild, weathered Stanton Moor is the Cork Stone. A stone feature which rather looks as though it has just popped out from a bottle of fizzy wine.

At the best of times, the Peak District of Derbyshire can be mysterious yet warmly welcoming. The oldest national park in the UK, it maybe has some of the oldest legends and myths. Ancient man made standing stones, stone circles, cairns and burial chambers litter the landscape.

The Cork Stone is a natural feature, weathered by the persistent, blowing winds.

This scene is available in a range of framed, unframed or canvas prints for you to hang on you wall and enjoy every day.
